Marcia Gay Harden Set for 'Someday This Pain Will Be Useful To You' Film

According to reports by Variety, Tony winner Marcia Gay Harden will star in the upcoming film "Someday This Pain Will be Useful to You," which Is set to be directed by Roberto Faenza.

The film tells the story of a recent high school grad who feels out of place among his well-off peers. The boy was raised in a privileged but broken home by his mother, played by Harden.

Harden won the 2009 Tony Award for Best Actress in a Play for GOD OF CARNAGE. Previously, Harden appeared on Broadway in ANGELS IN AMERICA. She also won an Academy Award for her role in "Pollock" and received an Academy Award nomination for "Mystic River." She is also set for the upcoming movie "Detachment," starring Adrien Brody, Lucy Liu, and William Petersen.
