Variety has reported that "Mad Men" and "Slumdog Millionaire" both snagged respective honors at the Art Director Guild Awards this past Saturday night, February 14th at the Beverly Hills Hilton Hotel.
"Mad Men" Production designer Dan Bishop and his team were honored with the award for "Best Episode of a One Hour Single-Camera Television Series".
"Slumdog Millionaire" designer Mark Digby and his team were honored with the Best Production Design for a Contemporary film.
Variety also reports that George Lucas was honored with the Outstanding Contribution to Cinematic Imagery which was given to him by fellow director and long time collaborator, Ron Howard.
Other feature film winners included "The Dark Knight" for Best Design on a Fantasy Feature and "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button," for Production Design on a Period Picture.
