Lionsgate Announces HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE Fashion Blog

Lionsgate, the studio behind the highly anticipated film HUNGER GAMES:CATCHING FIRE has launched a Tumblr blog, Capitol Couture, which will allow fans to interact with the exciting world of Panem.

Capitol Couture is dedicated to the eccentric fashions of Capitol City and allows fans to post their own Hunger Games inspired clothing, shoes, hairstyles and nail art. The site revealed the first look at Effie Trinket's (Elizabeth Banks) official Capitol Portrait on Monday. (at left)

THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE will once again star Lawrence and Hutcherson alongside Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Lenny Kravitz, Stanley Tucci, Toby Jones and Donald Sutherland.

New castmembers for the film include Oscar and Tony Award-winning actor Philip Seymour Hoffman and SEX & THE CITY standout Lynn Cohen.

The official plot for the film is descibed by the studio as such: "THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE begins as Katniss Everdeen has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark. Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a 'Victor's Tour' of the districts. Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell) - a competition that could change Panem forever."

THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE is scheduled to be released November 22, 2013.
