Kevin Kline in Talks to Join LAS VEGAS Film, Starring Robert De Niro, Morgan Freeman and Michael Douglas

According to Deadline, Kevin Kline is in talks to join Robert De Niro, Morgan Freeman and Michael Douglas in the comedy Las Vegas. Jon Turteltaub directs; Dan Fogelman writes.

The CBS Films and Good Universe project is about longtime friends who throw a Las Vegas bachelor party for the group's last remaining singleton.

Production is set to begin this fall. Las Vegas is produced by Laurence Mark and Amy Baer, with Nathan Kahane, Lawrence Grey and Matt Leonetti.

On film, Kline most recently appeared in Darling Companion and is in talks to appear in Charlie Kaufman's Frank Or Francis. He has also appeared in The Conspirator, No Strings Attached, Definitely, Maybe, The Pink Panther, De-Lovely, Life as a House, Wild Wild West, In & Out, The Ice Storm, French Kiss, Dave, Soapdish, A Fish Called Wanda, Sophie's Choice, and many more.

A prolific theatre artist, Kline most recently appeared on Broadway in the 2007 revival of Cyrano de Bergerac. He has also taken the stage in Broadway's Henry IV, The Play What I Wrote, Short Talks on the Universe, Ivanov, Arms and the Man, The Pirates of Penzance, Loose Ends, On the Twentieth Century, The Three Sisters, The Time of Your Life, Edward II, The Robber Bridegroom, Scapin, Measure for Measure, The Beggar's Opera and more. Kline's Off-Broadway credits include King Lear, Mother Courage and Her Children, The Seagull, Measure for Measure, Hamlet, Much Ado About Nothing, Henry V, King Richard III, Dance On A Country Grave, The Lower Depths, The Hostage, Women Beware Women, The School for Scandal, Richard III and The Chronicles of King Henry VI, Part 2. Kline has also acted as an artistic associate, associate producer and even director (Hamlet, Off-Broadway, 1990) for many shows on and off the Great White Way.
