According to The Hollywood Reporter Jason Bateman, Charlie Day and Jason Sudeikis have signed on to reprise their roles in a sequel to New Line's 2011 hit HORRIBLE BOSSES. Jamie Foxx is in negotiations to return as murder mentor Motherf---er Jones. Seth Gordon will return to direct. The original workplace comedy followed a trio of harried workers who try to off each other's bosses, with mixed results. Original screen writers John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein will also pen the sequel.
Colin Farrell, who met his demise in the film, played one of the bosses while Jennifer Aniston and Kevin Spacey played the others. According to the report, the sequel will feature a brand new set of bosses, however Aniston and Spacey may make cameo appearances.The 2011 movie was made for about $35 million and grossed $117 million at the domestic box office and $209 million worldwide. The sequel is scheduled to begin production in late summer of 2013.
