Jane Lynch Signs on to 'A.C.O.D' Film

According to Deadline.com, GLEE's Jane Lynch has been cast in the indie film 'A.C.O.D'. She will co-star with previously cast Richard Jenkins and Adam Scott. The film is written by Stuart Zicherman and Ben Karlin and directed Zicherman. It is produced by Teddy Schwarzman with Black Bear Pictures and by Karlin and Tim Perell.

Lynch has signed on to play the role of Dr. Judith. Her character is described as "a down on her luck author and therapist who jumps at the chance to regain the spotlight when her former patient Carter (Scott) shows up seeking her advice."

Jane Lynch is an Emmy and Golden Globe Award winner. She currently stars in GLEE. On stage, Lynch has appeared in Love, Loss, and What I Wore and in show with The Second City comedy troupe. Her on screen credits include Julie and Julia, Best in Show, and For Your Consideration.

GLEE is a biting musical comedy about a group of eager and ambitious students who strive to outshine their singing competition to win Nationals while navigating the cruel halls of McKinley High, garnering an incredible 19 Emmy nominations - earning it the distinction of being the most-nominated series of the year - and four Emmy Awards.
