Warner Brothers has officially won the rights to to bring together the entire DC Comics band of superheroes on the big screen. Until yesterday, they were involved in a heated, and long-running legal battle over the rights to Superman.
An anonymous - though high up - source revealed that the WB is set to speed up development exponentially on the live-action JUSTICE LEAGUE film, preparing for a summer 2015 release. The film, a la THE AVENGERS, would unite several well known superheroes of the DC comics universe, including Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman, as well as others.
A JUSTICE LEAGUE script is currently being written, though no cast or director is currently attached to the highly-anticipated project.
