AWN reports that Pixar is planning to bring the popular characters of Disney Pixar's TOY STORY franchise to a Halloween-themed television special. The project, to be titled TOY STORY OF TERROR, will air in 2013.
The plot is officially described as follows: "What starts out as a fun road trip for the "Toy Story" gang takes an unexpected turn for the worse when the trip detours to a roadside motel. After one of the toys goes missing, the others find themselves caught up in a mysterious sequence of events that must be solved before they all suffer the same fate in this "Toy Story of Terror."
No word yet as to whether Tom Hanks and Tim Allen will lend their voices to the beloved Toy Story characters Woody and Buzz Lightyear. The duo will be featured in the studio's upcoming series of Toy Story Toons," including the recent "Partysaurus Rex," which premiered before screenings of Finding Nemo 3D.
