Stage and screen stars Woody Harrelson, Mark Ruffalo and Jesse Eisenberg star alongside Morgan Freeman, Isla Fisher, Melanie Laurent, Dave Franco and Michael Caine in the new heist thriller NOW YOU SEE ME, coming to movie theaters nationwide on June 7.
Harrelson spoke to me about the film as part of our InDepth InterView (available here) earlier this year, describing it as "a magician heist thriller kind of movie."
The official synopsis for the film is as follows: "NOW YOU SEE ME pits an elite FBI squad in a game of cat and mouse against 'The Four Horsemen,' a super-team of the world's greatest illusionists. The Four Horsemen pull off a series of daring heists against corrupt business leaders during their performances, showering the stolen profits on their audiences while staying one step ahead of the law."
Last season, Harrelson's self-penned and produced play A BULLET FOR ADOLF played with much success Off-Broadway. Eisenberg can currently be seen opposite Vanessa Redgrave in THE REVISIONIST Off-Broadway. Mark Ruffalo stars in the forthcoming HBO film adaptation of Larry Kramer's THE NORMAL HEART, directed by Ryan Murphy.
