Entertainment One Picks Up Penelope Cruz's War Drama, TWICE BORN

Entertainment One Films announced today that it has acquired the rights for the North American distribution of TWICE BORN from Wild Bunch. The film stars Penélope Cruz and Emile Hirsch and was directed by Sergio Castellitto.

TWICE BORN premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in September.

Cruz plays a single mother who brings her son to Sarajevo, the place where his father died during the Bosnian conflict. 

“We’re pleased to add another impressive title to our growing US slate and delighted to secure TWICE BORN for Canada as well," said David Reckziegel, President of eOne Films North America. "Penélope Cruz and Emile Hirsch are audience-favorites and both deliver outstanding performances in this powerful drama."
 
TWICE BORN is set for release in the US and Canada sometime in 2013.
