According to Variety, Dominic Cooper is set to play James Bond creator Ian Fleming in a four-part biopic for Sky Atlantic. The Working Title for the miniseries is "Fleming", penned by John Brownlow and Don Macpherson and directed by Mat Whitecross.
"Stepping into the shoes of the spy who not only created the enigmatic character of 007, but who fantasized about being him as to be every actor's dream," Cooper said.

The series is set during WWII, British Naval intelligence hired Fleming for undercover work against the Nazis. Fleming's experiences with the war inspired his character 007. Ecosse Films's Douglas Rae will produce. Filming will take place in the UK and in Budapest.
Cooper recently appeared in Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, and has Dead Man Down, Reasonable Doubt, Need for Speed and November Man in the works. His other film credits include Summer in February, My Week with Marilyn, Captain America: The First Avenger, The Devil's Double, and The History Boys, in which he also appeared on Broadway, among many more.
