Dayton's Victoria Theatre Continues Cool Films Series with THE GODFATHER Trilogy, 8/17-19

Victoria Theatre Association makes you an offer impossible to refuse with an epic three-day presentation of THE GODFATHER TRILOGY August 17 – 19, 2012 at the Victoria Theatre as part of our 2012 Cool Films Series.THE GODFATHER, showing Friday, August 17, 2012, introduces audiences to the infamous Corleone family, including Marlon Brando as Vito Corleone and Al Pacino as Michael Corleone. The family's integral involvement in the New York Mafia spawns the plot for this cinematic landmark.

THE GODFATHER II, showing Saturday, August 18, 2012, follows Michael Corleone's struggles as the newly crowned Don of the Corleone family. The winner of six Oscars including the first sequel to ever win Best Picture, the trilogy's second installmentis sure to make an offer no audience member can refuse.

THE GODFATHER III, showing Sunday, August 19, 2012, completes the Corleone family saga. This film, proclaimed the epilogue by director Francis Ford Coppola, includes depictions of the death of Pope John Paul I and the Papal banking scandal, attributing them to Michael Corleone's mafia activity. Concluding in the death of the Don, you can't miss this final installment!
