Daniel Radcliffe is currently in talks to take on the iconic role of hunchbacked-lab assistant 'Igor' in an upcoming reboot of the classic Mary Shelley horror story FRANKENSTEIN. According to a report in the UK's Independent, the Harry Potter star is close to signing on to the project from Fox Studios.
Paul McGuigan will direct from a script by Max Landis.The studio is reportedly eyeing a late summer start for the film, which will shoot in the UK.
The actor was most recently seen on the big screen in The Woman In Black and is currently filming 'Kill Your Darlings' in which he portrays Beat poet Allen Ginsberg.
Radcliffe is best known for playing the title role in the 'Harry Potter' film franchise. He made his Broadway debut, to much acclaim, in EQUUS and made his Broadway musical debut as J. Pierrepont Finch in the recent revival of the Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING.
