MI6 has confirmed that actor Daniel Craig will remain in the role of super spy James Bond for at least two more films following the release of the upcoming 'Skyfall.' His remaining contracted fourth and fifth films will be the 24th and 25th movies in the official series of Bond films.
Craig made his debut in "Casino Royale" (2006). Five additional films would make him the third longest serving James Bond actor in terms of films produced, behind only Roger Moore's seven and Sean Connery's six outings. No formal announcement has been made as yet.
Sony Pictures, who through a new co-financing deal with MGM, will also continue their relationship that began with the film "Casino Royale". In the UK, Sky is ready to launch its 007 HD channel which will have all 22 Bond films available in HD, on demand and without ad breaks from October 5th.
