Chris Colfer has written and will star in an upcoming film about a teen who gets 'Struck By Lightning,' and Tribeca Film will release the movie in theatres in late 2012. Check out the trailer below!
Colfer is best known for his portrayal of Kurt Hummel on Glee, for which he has received several nominations and awards, including the Golden Globe award for Best Supporting Actor in 2011.
As reported earlier this month, joining Colfer in 'Stuck By Lightning' is Allison Janney, whose Broadway credits include 9 TO 5 and A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE. Christina Hendricks, who performed at this year's Tony Awards ceremony as part of the cast of the New York Philharmonic production of COMPANY, will join Sarah Hyland (most recognizable from ABC's 'Modern Family' - but also, perhaps, to theatre audiences as a young Jackie Bouvier in 2006's GREY GARDENS) and Dermot Mulroney (who got his start in community theater, though he's best known for various film roles).
