Ben Foster, Kirsten Dunst, Katherine Waterston Join Film Adaptation of Adam Rapp's RED LIGHT WINTER

According to Variety, Ben Foster will star in the upcoming film adaptation of Adam Rapp's play Red Light Winter, replacing the previously announced Mark Ruffalo. Foster will be joined by Kirsten Dunst and Katherine Waterston.

The story follows two men—played by Foster and an as-of-yet uncast role previously filled by Billy Crudup—traveling from New York to Amsterdam and their love triangle with a prostitute, portrayed by Dunst. Waterston will co-star as another love interest with a romantic history attached to both men.

The film is being produced by Parts & Labor's Jay Van Hoy and Lars Knudsen with Scott Rudin and is set to begin filming in December 2012 or January 2013.

Foster most recently appeared in Contraband, will next be seen with Daniel Radcliffe in Kill Your Darlings, and will play a role in Lone Survivor, which will begin shooting in September. Other film credits include The Laramie Project, Liberty Heights, Get Over It, Hostage, X-Men: The Last Stand, Alpha Dog, 30 Days of NIght, The Messenger, Bang Bang You're Dead, The Mechanic and Pandorum, as well as 3:10 to Yuma.

Kirsten Dunst has appeared in the films Interview with the Vampire, Little Women, Jumanji, Wag the Dog, Small Soldiers, The Virgin Suicides, Drop Dead Gorgeous, Bring It On, Get Over It, Crazy/Beautiful, the Spider-Man trilogy, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Elizabethtown, Marie Antoinette, How to Lose Friends & Alienate People and, most recently, Melancholia.

Waterston has appeared Off-Broadway in The Cherry Orchard, Dreams of Flying Dreams of Falling and Kindess. Waterston is well known for her role in 2007's The Babysitters.
