Anthology Film Archives will host the 2012 Film Preservation Honors and Benefit at The Highline Room + Terrace at The Standard, New York on June 25th from 7-10pm.

This year the Archives will honor The Women's Film Preservation Fund, Richard Peña, and Cinetech for their significant work in film preservation and exhibition. The organization looks forward to joining together with the entire Anthology Film Archives community to celebrate these contributions to our collective film heritage, and to raise funds for another year of innovative programming and film preservation at Anthology. The evening will feature cocktails, hors d'oeurves and a special musical guest.

Anthology is also holding a raffle to win a private screening at Anthology Film Archives, a set visit to Boardwalk Empire, VIP tickets to the Colbert Report and other exciting prizes!

Screen your own film or a preserved film from our archive for you and your friends. Includes a small reception in the lobby before or after the screening. Attendance at the benefit is not required to enter the raffle. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased online or at the box office.

For more information, click here to visit Anthology's website. Click here to purchase tickets, or contact René Smith at rene@anthologyfilmarchives.org or call René or Ava at (212) 505-5181 ext. 10.

Anthology has been dedicated to preserving, presenting, and promoting independent, non-commercial, and avant-garde cinema for over 40 years. In addition to hosting countless important filmmakers and artists since the 1960’s, the Archives also maintain a major collection of thousands of films and videos, and preserve an average of 25-30 films each year. Anthology's research library holds the world’s largest collection of materials documenting the history of American and international film and video as art and is regularly accessed by scholars, writers, artists, curators, and students. Anthology needs your support now more than ever, and your participation in this year’s benefit would greatly assist the organization in raising much needed funds to maintain its film preservation and screening programs.
