Adam Sandler to get Crazy for RIDICULOUS 6

Adam Sandler's newest film, the wester comedy, RIDICULOUS 6, has just been picked up by Paramount Pictures, Deadline reported tonight. The film is set to begin filming in April 2013, with Tom Cruise rumored to star.

Nothing has been confirmed plotwise, but rumors suggest it's a satirical romp based upon John Sturges' THE MAGNIFICENT SEVEN.

Sandler's latest animated flick, HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA, has been a smash at the box office, grossing over $180 million dollars. His last two live-action films, THAT'S MY BOY and JACK AND JILL underwhelmed both critics and audiences alike.
