AARP & RLTV Team Up For MOVIES FOR GROWNUPS PRESENTS, Beg. Today

AARP's highly regarded Movies for Grownups program expands to television when AARP and RLTV debut a new weekly series, Movies for Grownups Presents, tonight, March 1 from 8-10 PM ET on RLTV. Hosted by AARP's film expert Bill Newcott, Movies for Grownups Presents will offer a sneak peak at box office attractions that appeal to older movie goers, plus reviews of new home video and Video On Demand (VOD) releases. Newcott will then introduce the film classic he has hand-picked for viewers' entertainment that night. Throughout the evening, he'll share insights, stories and little-known facts about these classic movies.

Reaching millions through articles in AARP the Magazine, film reviews and blogs on www.aarp.org, an award-winning radio show, and its annual Movies for Grownups Awards Gala in Hollywood, AARP has long been an advocate for showcasing films that appeal to an older audience and is 50+ America's trusted guide to movies.

"AARP has played an important role in highlighting the value and significance of the 50+ movie audience through Movies for Grownups over the past decade, and we are honored to join with them in bringing this program to RLTV," said RLTV President and CEO Paul Fitzpatrick. "Furthermore, we are confident that Bill Newcott's entertaining point of view and depth of knowledge about movies new and old will prove to be very popular with our viewers."

"From the start, AARP's Movies for Grownups program has pointed audiences to great films for 50+ movie loversand worked hard to make sure Hollywood doesn't overlook that audience," said Newcott. "Now with RLTV, we're bringing some of our favorite classic films straight to people's homesand previewing great new films they can see in theaters and on home video."
