'21' Collaborator Paul Epworth Co-Writes SKYFALL Theme With Adele

Showbiz411.com reveals exclusively that Adele's collaborator on the theme song to the upcoming James Bond film SKYFALL, titled "Let the Sky Fall," was Paul Epworth, her co-writer for "Rolling in the Deep" as well as most of the songs on her Grammy-winning album"21."  The "Skyfall" song is set to debut on either October 4th or 5th from Sony Music. According to the report, Sony hopes to make "Let the Sky Fall" the biggest selling digital single ever.

BWW revealed lyrics to the song earlier this week. Now Showbiz411 has added to the highly-anticipated lyrics with: "Skyfall/Is where we start/A thousand miles and poles apart/Where worlds collide/and days are denied/You can take my name/But you'll never take my heart"

The recording marks Adele's first new music since her multi-million selling second album '21' was released back in January of 2011. '21' was the fastest-selling album in eight years and swept every category it was nominated for at the Grammy Awards, including nods for Album, Record and Song of the year.

The singer teased that she would be behind the Bond theme song last year on a visit to Jonathan Ross' talk show commenting, "I'm going back in the studio in November, fingers crossed. Well, this is actually a theme, that I've got to do. Wow, that's really giving something away."

The singer follows a long line of award-winning musicians who have sung a Bond theme song including Sir Paul McCartney, Dame Shirley Bassey, Duran Duran, Tina Turner, Tom Jones and Madonna.

Skyfall, starring Daniel Craig as James Bond along with Naomie Harris, Dame Judi Dench, Ralph Fiennes and Javier Bardem, is scheduled to be released in theaters on October 26, coinciding with the 50th anniversary of the James Bond franchise.
